Cajun Man's Swamp Cruise, Houma

I had the pleasure of experiencing a swamp tour with Both Annie Miller herself, and Black Guidry..My experience with his tour is by far the best. My father in law came for a visit from Texas and 1 yr later he is still talking about how much he enjoyed it, I have been told that his next trip down, he wants another tour....

I am from LA & I've searched high & low for almost a year, for the perfect "Swamp Tour" and came across this one. I have a girlfriend & her family that came down from Virginia for a visit. A group of us took them on this tour.....What an experience!!! We saw so many alligators (hugh alligators), lots of wildlife, Spanish moss and the scenery is to die for!!! Mr. Guidry is a wonderful host, playing the accordian, singing in French and telling plenty of jokes! So tranquil! My girlfriend and her family is coming in October and I've already booked our trip there!!! This is a "MUST SEE & DO" on your LA trip!!!!

We moved to Louisiana several years ago, so we had to tour the place ourselves and give many tours to our visitors. This is the tour that kept our guests smiling for days and still talking about when reminiscing about the trip here. We've been on two other tours and they don't have the same atmosphere and fun as this one. He's entertaining and knows how to give a good show, and visitors get a good feel for Louisiana and the Cajun joie de vivre. I noticed his web site is down as of this writing and hope he hasn't stopped giving tours: we have three more relatives in town and are hunting for a tour to send them on.

Six of us from Vienna Virginia spent a delightful morning last Thursday (March 24) with "Black" Guidry on his swamp boat. The two hours with him went much too quickly. He has at least two alligators 'on his payroll' and they earned their keep that day. He is in the process of adding a bald eagle to his payroll. We made an excellent choice in picking this cruise. He also suggested a local eatery for lunch- Bayou Delight Restaurant- We were the only non-locals there and the staff certainly made us feel welcome.
