Bayou Black Airboat Swamp Tours

I have been to Wayne's World three times now. Everytime someone visits me from out of town I ask if they are interested and they are always intrigued by the idea of an airboat ride. This is sooooo much more than an airboat ride. Wayne is thoroughly knowledgeable about his surroundings. He can tell you about every bird, fish, animal, reptile and plant. He knows their common names and their biological names. He can tell you their eating habits and their sleeping habits. He knows where everything nests and suns during the day. Being with Wayne is like taking a swamp tour with Mr. Wizard and Mr. Rogers, all at once. One of my friends even elected to return on a second tour because she returned to visit New Orleans with her brother and didn't want him to miss this spectacular opportunity to see nature up close and personal with such a knowledgeable guide. I wouldn't call this a tour. I would call this a visit into one man's personal world where he spares no effort to make his visitors comfortable while teaching them everything he can while you are there. The drive is negligible, the cost is nominal, the experience is like nothing else. MJ

what an amazing time! Wayne was so nice.We showed up late and he was so kind and still took his time showing us all the bayou has to offer. It was my favorite outing of my three week drive cross county. Worth the $ bar far!!!!

Our tour guide, Wayne, was great! He took us through the swamps and marshes, knew the area like the back of his hand, and had info on all the trees and animals around. It was a small boat so we had personal attention. We got up VERY close to an alligator and Wayne fed it. It really is an awesome tour if you want a real swamp experience!

What a thrilling experience. If you visit New Orleans, make sure to find the time to take this airboat tour with Wayne. The natural beauty of this area is downright breathtaking! You will see aligators, eagles (thanks Wayne), wildlife and aquatic plants to name a few things. Take your camera -- it's so beautiful you'll want to remember it always. Wayne does stop the boat so you can take all the pictures you want. It is definitely worth the time and I highly recommend it. I would return in a "New York minute." (cms)

This airboat ride was a unique way to travel and see the swamps of the south Louisiana wetlands. We saw large alligators, many nutra-rats, bald eagles, and an abundance of other wildlife. Many of the other local tours did not find alligators, but this organization knew exactly what we wanted to see! It was great and reasonably priced!

A WILDLIFE PARADISE, SOUTH LOUISIANA IS EVEN MORE BEAUTIFUL THAT I COULD EVER HAVE IMAGINED. THE TOUR GUIDE, WAYNE, WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND WE HAD A GREAT TIME. TAKE YOUR CAMERA. YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS FILMING THIS BEAUTIFUL NATURE SPOT.

Absolutely fantastic! Speeding on the open water, stuck in the mud in the middle of swamp forest. Nature that is one of a kind in the whole planet.

Just over 2 years ago a friend of ours came to "Holiday" at our home. He lives in Venice, Italy. Only in La. do you have to be so specific...hehe. After the tour he told me he had the best time of his life and believe me he's done a LOT of traveling. Well, Wayne, my granddaughter is coming for a visit from Boston in a couple of weeks and we do not want to miss a tour with you. I personally can hardly wait to revisit the swamp, marsh and solitude of Gods creation in South Louisiana. Looking fwd. to seeing you soon.

Wayne gave an excellent tour. I don't know what his education level is - nor do I care,but I would swear that this guy has a PHD in Ecology. I am an instructor at an outdoors school and an Environmental Engineer. Wayne and I spent a long time dicusiing the local ecology. His experience out there is great and far surpasses anything you pick up in school. He is also a true southern gentleman. My girlfriend still talks about taking him home. (she thinks he is a sexy man) HA!
