I actually was there once when the muralist was working! He did not mind answering a few questions while he worked. Robert is a very nice guy!
His works are amazing and I hope to see more of this particular set of murals sometime...maybe by next summer? Got it all crossed here as those are truly so beautiful!
I was also lucky in that we were there during a slow time period and standing in the street to make the photo memories was not a problem.
I think that the paintings are really pretty. They are along the flood walls which is only appropriate in an area that has had its fair share of flooding. Why not make mankinds struggle with nature a thing of beauty?
I like the fact you can walk down the sidewalks and see all of the murals. Each one has a description in front of it and there are gardens in front of the murals so its a pretty scene.
The only thing I didnt like is the fact that at the end of the mural wall if you want to get a photo you have to stand in the street because the road also runs along the flood wall.
Other than that there is great parking near by in the city lot as well as a lot of really cute shops and places to eat close by.
