We went down the week before my son's golf season started. We are from Northern Indiana. The course was in great shape even with all the rain they have received this year. The staff was awesome and treated us like friends. The greens were in great shape. We went further south to play golf and after seeing the shape other courses were in, we returned to play Kenny Perry's again. If you are near here i would say you can't go wrong playing here.
We stopped on our way back to Michigan from Tennessee on a cool (light) rainy November day. The starter was extremely nice and friendly and went out of his way for us. This course featured several challenging yet fun holes. It was beautiful and a blast. REALLY, REALLY enjoyed the golf and can't wait to get down there again. We called traveling friends from Alabama to tell them to stop by and play on there way up to Michigan and they did. They enjoyed the course as much as we did. We are all already planning our next return visit in early spring 2011. Can't wait!
We are sorry about you being unhappy, however, let me explain a few things. The pro shop was understaffed that day due to an emergency that I had with my daughter in Nashville. Our staff was carrying a full load that day. I arrived back to the pro shop around 2:00 and found a very busy day at Country Creek for which we are thankful. However, Country Creek has a reputation of friendly and helpful staff and we are sorry about you being unhappy. It is sometimes hard to keep everyone happy but we try our best. In regard to the power lines, they only come into play on #10. It was our mistake to send out a replay if it delayed your tee time. Again, we apologize for that mistake. Lydia Petersen, Pro Shop Manager
We had two tee times starting at 1:44 .When we walked into the club house 15 minutes before our tee times eight golfers were sitting down adding up scores. I over heard them ask to play nine more and the short rude grey headed guy who took our money told them to go ahead. When we got to hole one there was no starter and there were 15 people on the tee box with the eight who took off with out a tee time in front of us.A two some also in front of us had a tee time of 1:36 and the had to play behind the eight idots who did not offer to let them play thru. We said someting to a marshall a few holes later and he was also rude.
The course was in fair condition but had several holes with power lines in your ball flight.
It took five hours to play our round.
It was not worth the price and we will not be going back.
super nice folks. have had the opportunity to speak with kenny and his father. (see their picture in webster's under "genuinely good guys"). i was there a few years back when i first started playing. about half way through my round i let a threesome play through (i was walking). it was kenny and 2 of his buddies! he invited me to join them but i was way to "green" for that. now that i know what a great person he is i could kick myself.
Nice layout, played here May 2009 after having driven from California on a two week trip. Green fees $35 reg nd $30 Sr. w/cart are a great bargain! Staff is very friendly and even got to spend a half hour actually chatting with Kenny as he was fishing down at the pond. The hospitality of the people in that part of the country is as genuine as you've imagined. If I ever get back to Kentucky I will definitely play the course again. Recent heavy rains had the course in less than perfect shape, but it was a great time spent. I purchased a coupla autographed hats from the pro shop which also doubles as Kenny's museum of golf bags, golf sets he's used and autographed pix from his contempories at every imaginable venue. I highly recommend visiting KPCC to anyone with a love of golf and an appreciation for being around nice people.

My first golf trip there was in 2006, now I go back every summer; wouldn't miss it! A very picturesque and easy drive from Ohio. The friendliest people I've ever met work there, and they'll assist you in anyway they can. Kenny's sister, Lydia, handles all the tee times and is a great hostess! When he's not on tour, Kenny is often there and enjoys being "just one of the guys." Nos. 7 (The Barn Hole) and 12 are my favorite; challenging but fair! Just a fun place with a great atmosphere. See you in June of 2009!
