Downtown Lawrence, Lawrence

It's not your average big city downtown, but it's not some podunk little street either. On warm nights there are musicians on the streets, lots of varieties of restaurants are open until at least 11 or 12, a bar on about every block, and the best thing. NO BUMS!! I didn't get asked for change once!! No weirdos and lots and lots of free parking after 5 pm. One thing I didn't like was just about all the really cool shops close around 5 or 6, so do your shopping BEFORE you eat dinner.

I make Lawrence a destination as often as I can. It offers a very unique atmosphere compared to a typical kansas town, very quaint. Lots of unique shops downtown.

downtow Lawrence is quaint and full of great shops and places to eat. I enjoyed it much more overall than Kansas City. Also, the campus is beautiful
