I'm a jewelry fanatic and have always shopped around at the local boutiques whenever traveling, but Goldmakers is by far the best jewelry store I've been to! If you're looking for eclectic designers, and a one-of-a-kind piece that you will rarely find on anyone else, then this is the place for you! Their prices cover a vast range, but you can always find something great within the $30-$50 mark. If you're traveling through Lawrence, I strongly recommend this being one of your stops! Also, found the staff + owner to be delightful.

The prices are pretty incredible for the quality. I wish I could have bought a lot more than I did! Very nice stuff.

Goldmaker's customized our "rolling ring" wedding bands. We chose the colors of gold we wanted and feel very happy to have a unique ring and is different than the standard fare "diamond-and-gold" sets. Now, 13 years later, I returned and they designed a custom "mother's ring" for me. Silver links and stones for all three of my kiddos. I get nothing but rave reviews for this unique take on a mother's ring. The help staff did not talk me out of anything. they offered suggestions on how to make my design work and they had it to me in under 2 weeks. Bravo guys and thanks for being around!

I feel lucky that this store exists. It is exactly what jewelry shopping should be - beautiful pieces for a range of budgets, but in an atmosphere that makes you feel like everything for sale is special and unique. And it is! I have shopped here for many years and recommend it highly.

I designed my wedding ring and met with the Goldmaker's goldsmith. They completed the ring... it was absolutely beautiful and very inexpensive. Goldmakers was incredibly helpful and professional. Though my first marriage didn't last... I'm going back to Goldmaker's to purchase another ring just for myself. I love having any excuse to drive from KC to Lawrence... especially to hang out on Mass Street. Thank you, john

My fiance and I happened upon Goldmakers one evening just to browse rings. By the time we left we had already designed and ordered a custom wedding band to go with my engagement ring. The lady who helped us was very competent and artistic, and the price was less than what we would have paid for a mass produced ring of lower quality. I got to pick the exact design on my ring, and they had many metals to choose from. I was able to choose rose gold, something not found everywhere. They made it within a week and a half and it is absolutely beautiful. Also, during that time they had my engagement ring so that the new band would fit together with it perfectly, and they took care of it and had even cleaned it for me when I got it back. So, I had a wonderful experience, got a beautiful, affordable ring, and would highly recommend Goldmakers.
