Sunflower Hills Golf Course

The course is in good shape and for the money, it is hard to beat in the Kansas City area. The fairways are great to hit off, and the greens are well above average for a public course. Sunday afternoon's are a good time to get a quicker round in for a real reasonable price.

The pro shop and snack bar area are old and dark looking and could use alittle bit of clean up to be more presentable such as brighter lighting, brighter paint, and a better pro shop selection of equipment. The golf course is very tough however it needs a few more years to mature the zoysia fairways. #15 is one of the toughest par4's from the back tees as well as #16 is one of the toughest Par 3's from the tips. This course just needs to grow better rough and cut the greens shorter (to speed up) the greens to make it better. The senior league they have here is a good group of guys and one they should be proud of.

This golf course provides a challenge for all skill levels and yet provides opportunities to score well. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Coming off major renovation the course is in good condition. I would highly reccomend this course to anyone who wants to challenge their game!
