CAMPING
By Brent E, 05/21/09
I THINK THE LAKE IS WONDERFUL FOR CAMPING. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THE FREE SITES SHOULD BE FOR PEOPLE CAMPING IN TENTS ONLY. WE ALMOST COULD GET A SPOT FOR ALL THE CAMPERS. IF THEY CAN OFFORD THEM THAN THEY CAN AFFORD TO CAMP IN THE PAY SITES. THIS IS SOMETHING YOU SHOULD CHANGE

Great times at this lake
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/29/08
My family was military, so i grew up around this lake, and i enjoyed every moment we got to spend there. There is always something going on. local bands, fesitvals, usually there is a fourth of july celebration here. So many things to do here and so many places to explore. This lake offeres so many different things, you've got jet ski cove, all the marinas, there is a place you can drive your ATV's hunting, fishing, whatever your hear desires.

The best lake in Kansas!
By Travis, 10/13/06
Milford Lake. Whether you like to hunt, fish, boat, ski, sun bathe, whatever, this lake has it. The hunting opportunities are many. Deer, turkey, pheasant, quail, small game, you name it. It is also an exceptional white bass and smallmouth lake. Anglers may also catch a good sized largemouth. Catfish of good size are also not uncommon. The lake has many camping areas and boat ramps available to the public. It is a great all around experience that anyone can enjoy.

Awesome place always
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/18/05
I miss this lake. It is awesome. Most lakes you can only look at. This lake you have many access points that you can actually go down and sit on a rock right by the water. The fishing is awesome, and the fishing tourneys that go on. Camping is awesome too. Love the music festival you all are putting on every year that's cool you ought to have music contest out there like down at winfield. Just think of the money you could bring into milford/junction city. And for those of you that read this. check out the eagles in the winter time. Heck for that matter the water fowl is pretty good. Just have to hunting around for them. Oh and watch out for the deer. this area has quit the wildlife.
