Oasis on the planes

I love this place. You can't beat the price. Its free. There are so many different animals and the attractions are really up to date. There is supposed to be new construction soon and that should make it even better.

Tapirs Terrific

I love this zoo. Especially the tapirs and slow loris. I loved walking through the zoo, it is gorgeous. I grew up in this zoo. I think that the zoo could fill in some of the gaps. I also always wanted to see the kangaroos more clearly. I also wondered if the howler and spider monkeys liked their enclosures. The zoo is small and easy to walk. I love this zoo.

The zoo is very nice and clean with alot of nice animal areas in it. My family have been comming there since 1974 . We live in Penna. and we pay for using a park or to go to a zoo. Thats what we always liked about Garden City,KA. Each year they keep fixing it up. And no charge

Nice Zoo..

Lee Richardson Zoo is a nice zoo for Garden City, KS, a medium-sized town. There is no admission fee unless you drive and then it is only $3, which is great and the reason I gave it an excellent rating in the VALUE category. I wish they had more animals to view, but it is satisfactory given that Garden City, KS is a town and not a big city and you really cannot expect the same as the Denver Zoo or San Diego Zoo, etc.
