Demolition has begun

They are now tearing down this eyesore. The wrecking ball started last week and should be done in a matter of months , maybe they will put in another strip mall
 
 
 
 
 
Through the years

Back in the day it was a packing plant, but when I was a kid, it was a mall and was kinda neet, but it later became a place with just a few shops such as bowling and restaurants, than finally it suffered a fire, that left it mostly destroyed, now it is scheduled to be torn down. To give you a time frame, I am 40 years old.

It's excellent, if you like abandoned slaughterhouses

It's been condemned for several years now, so not really high on the must see list for travelers unless you are into urban exploration. I'm sure it would be really interesting to explore if all the doors and windows weren't barred.
