Trinity Heights, Sioux City

Back in the summer of 2010, I was asked to visit the park while on a personal trip with a friend suffering from a terrible disease. I am protestant and most likely would not have visited had she not encouraged us to do so. It was mid-afternoon and we left as darkness descended on us. I cannot even begin to tell you the emotional impact that visit had on me, and continues to this day. We revisited the very next day as we headed out of town and back home. My best friend now sits with the Lord, free of pain. While her passing weighs heavily on my heart, those two days, the emotions we felt and the memories that were elicited burns deeply within my soul. If you are seeking a beautiful experience, visit Trinity Heights. Catholic, protestant or other ... as a human being, memories will last long after your visit. Statues are beautiful & in a nice park-like setting. They seem to have plans to add more to make it even better. The people there are very friendly. As a believer, I found it very moving.

Love this area, close enough to our home in Omaha that I take out of town visitors there for a day outing. Everyone I have taken there seem to really enjoy the experience.

this site is really great visit all day till 9pm the religeous would enjoy it the most must see full size carving of last supper. models were done by peoples likeness in le mars iowa. excellent site must see
