it was ok

It was just a run down theater. Buddy Holly and the Big Bopper are Clear Lake's only claim to fame. The lake is nice though.

Wish I could go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/08/05
I went to this place back in 2002. It was my first time. The last place Buddy Holly sang while he was still on Earth, you could even feel his presence. I loved it so much that I came home crying. I can't go back because if I do I would want to stay and I know that I can't do that. If you like Richie Valens, Big Bopper and Buddy Holly; you'll enjoy meeting Big Bopper's son (which is a nice man by the way) or Buddy Holly's friends, (Peggy Sue Gerron and Tommy Allsup) then this is the place for you. Am very happy I went. Was worth it.
