Learned Here
By Brianne, 02/03/08
Grew up skiing here and loved it... great place to learn and close to home! Wonderful addition to the community. Gives the local kids and families a clean atmosphere while getting the kids some exercise.

Overview of Pines
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/01/08
Pines ski area is a great place for learners and pros at snowboarding or skiing. They have rails jumps and a bunny hill with a tow rope. The Value may not be so great but the hill is.

it was great day to spend with my family and freinds from different town and state. We tried to ski,but most of us just fell on our butts and then we went and sat down and drink hot chocolate

The kids have a great time snowboarding there, they added new things for this winter, we drove by this summer to look at it, and they're already waxing there boards for the snow...we have a great time!

Great little place
By Keith, 01/02/06
The Pines is close to chicago. Its small but a great place to take the kids without killing the budget. If you want bigger hills take the 3 hour ride up north. If you want a quick inexpensive get away go here.

Only okay to learn to ski/board
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/24/04
The Pines is way too small. The only chair lift has broken down 2 of the times I have been there. It's an okay place to learn to ski but you can only go do the few slopes so many times before getting bored/fed up.
