Porter County Expo Center

Every year I try to find out what is going on at the expo center, via the web, I give up! Is it a secret they don't want the public to know? Good way to keep out-of-towners out of town! Who's their press agent. I go to the Porter County Fair in August and pick up a calander of events that expires in December. Since the events are not on the web, I have no reason to go back, they have nothing there, except that one week a year. I tried to find the Corvette swap, doesn't exist!

I was also trying to find a schedule of events at the Expo like many others. The site was no help. I know they have a new sign out front that shows events, but not everyone drives by the Expo Center every day. I was looking to see if they were having any fireworks this year.

Everyone was very accommodating when I organized and planned a seminar for seniors that we held at the facility. Loved the set-up, cleanliness, beverages, and employees. I would definitely recommend the Expo Center to anyone giving a seminar. Thanks for everything.

My girlfriend, her Mom and I went to the OZ Festival this past Saturday. What a disappointment. It use to be a wonderful event in Chesterton. This year there were very little crafts, tons of overpriced food, a $2.00 entrance fee for adults and little children ages 2 - 5 a $1.00 fee. That was ridiculous. There were overpriced rides and just a huge disappointing experience. I think don't look for this festival to last. It's such a shame as for many years it was one of the highlites in Chesterton. Lots of good crafters, decent food, lots of attendance, great parade and a perfect family outing. Seems like someone sold out for money and has left a huge void for Porter County, Indiana and it's neighboring States.

It was a wonderful experience. I must say the prices were a horrible experience. Enjoyed the fair but not the outragious prices!! we went there at 4 in the afternoon and it was a perfect time to go. we loved it.

This is an awful site if you are looking for upcoming events. All upcoming events at the Expo Center are listed on the Porter County Gov't. org web page. What a waste this site is!

I can't find a schedule of events for this facility-- why? The expo center is home to all kinds of fun and facinating things to do but with no advance notice, it's hard to plan. I was looking for more specific events and could find nothing. How sad......

Looking for the date of the golf expo for 2007. Called an exhibitor from the previous year show and they had the date. Need to post this kind of information on-line.

I was just trying to find a schedule of events, looking for the boat show. It took me five minutes on google to find the right site. Finally found it and it was useless. I called the number on the site and it was a wrong number! Can it get any worse?
