Northern Indiana Center for History
The Northern Indiana Center for History is housed in an elegant, 38-room Victorian Romanesque Queen Anne mansion, with original furnishings on all three floors. Other important sites include a 1930s cottage, a South Bend gallery, a gallery of Notre Dame history, exhibitions, and a children's museum.
The museum covers a great span of time. I most enjoyed the exhibits of "stuff" from the 20th century. It is next to the Studebaker Museum and you can get a combo admission. A must see place. Be sure to tour the mansion that's on the campus. Easy parking too.
