From the night before when I got my phone call reminding me of my appointment, until the minute I walked out of the salon, I had fantastic service. My time at Christina and Company, was both relaxing and enjoyable.
I have spent at least $80 each time I visited Christina's and I left feeling like "just another customer." The staff, with their good looks, at least give you the impression they must know what they are talking about, but never would tell you there was a "no return" policy on a product you are buying, at least not until you pay. Not worth the tip money.
When I called to inquire about their pedicures, I specifically asked if they offered a massage chair. The receptionist said they did. During my visit I was seated in a "massage chair" yet it was never turned on. However, the girl was friendly and took extra time with the pedicure. Frankly, I should have asked her to turn on the chair but didn't want to upset someone holding a sharp implement. All in all, it was a nice visit but I've had better for less $.
Christine's has definitely let itself slide in the past couple of years. The service is not what it used to be and has failed to stay on the cutting edge of fashion and style. If you are looking for a serious spa and relaxation, I would skip Christine's and head to one in Indy, at least the service is what you pay for.
I have been visting christina and company for over 5 years. I am a student at Purdue, i do find it expensive, but its worth the price. I have got manys ervices done here, right from hair color, to haircut, eyebrows to facials and spa. My experience each time has been wonderful and charming.
Its a greta place, would recommend hands down. My friends visted this palce after my recommendation and are now all raving about this place
Christina & Company is a nice place. Some services are expensive, like eyebrow waxing ($12) but most prices are average.
I recently had a GM facial, which was a gift from my husband, and it was fabulous. It is a wonderful face, neck and shoulder massage that leaves your skin feeling wonderful. It is very relaxing. Though, my skin was left rather oily this time.
I think a facial will be a standard b-day gift for me.
I have visited Christine and Co. regularly over the last six years and have used many of their services. With only one exception, I have found everyone to be friendly, courteous, and professional. I have my hair cut and colored every month, and have used their manicurists, pedicurists, and message therapists on several occasions.
I am always greeted courteously by the desk staff and have never waited more than five minutes beyond my scheduled appointment time without an explanation and apology. The hair stylists are very talented and do their best to help you look your best. I have had manicures and pedicures and found both to be professional and relaxing. Whenever I have had a massage, the massage therapist has been discreet and professional. I was never rushed, but rather was encouraged to take my time, relax, and enjoy the experience.
Christine and Co. is a little expensive, but they provide quality products and services. I highly recommend them to friends and strangers alike.
This is hands down the best salon in Lafayette. The stylist are all very highly trained and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They also have a new complete makeover package that is absolutely amazing, it involves everything from hair styles, to make-up, to a fashion consultation. This salon has it all!
I was 20 minutes early for my 3 treatments (massage/facial/haircut). The receptionists called the wrong name for 15 minutes past my scheduled Appt. I then went up to check on my Appt. & they had been calling for me (at least a name with the same first letter). I was then rushed to the massage room, rushed to undress, & get the massage done (trying to keep the massage therapist on time with her appts of course). So, this was not the relaxing/rejuvinating experience I was hoping for, not to mention late for my other Appts. as well.
