Terrible Rude Management!
I had been going here for around a year and 1/2. I received great hair cuts, style, and color. I was always treated nicely by my stylist. Everything changed after I purchased a blow dryer and round brush in one for approx. 42.00. This product was suggested to me, so I purchased it. I took the dryer out of the box and turned it on. It did not produce enough air to dry hair. I NEVER used it. I put it back in the package. I called on 1-3-07 to ask about returning it. I was told that product returns are not permitted. I was then put on hold and then told that a distributor would have to be contacted and it would be a few days before I would know if I could return it. The call ended. After thinking about this being total nonsense, especially since I spend 119-130.00 every 6 weeks plus tip for a cut and color. I called back. This time A salon manager named Amy got on the phone. I reminded Amy how much I spend there and how often I go there and that I always tip well. Amy informed me that she didn't care if I spent 2.00 or 2,000.00 that the product I bought was a special order, it was NOT. Amy informed me that I was never forced to purchase this product. Amy told me the product was NOT a dryer. This is odd since the box clearly stated it was a hair dryer and round brush in one. Amy continued to
TELL me that I was going to listen to her. She would not allow me to explain anything. The phone call ended. Amy then called me back a short time later. I told Amy that the last time I was there red hair dye got all over my blouse, and the assistant washing my hair burnt me with hot water. I was going to discuss this with my stylist during my next appt. Amy never addressed this and told me I had to listen to her. Amy said she would refund my money in cash for the product. Amy also told me that I had to respect her and all employees at the salon. I could not believe the way this woman chose to speak to me. She treated me as if I were some piece of trash that should be thankful to use their services. I went with my husband as to have a witness and returned the dryer. My husband also canceled my 2 upcoming appointments. We were treated very coldly when we returned the product. This salon does not back up their products, they don't accept returns and get hostile if a regular client asks to return a product. I will not be back. The assistant to my stylist ruined my blouse with red hair dye, burnt me when washing the color out of my hair, and got me wet with water while I was there on 12-28-06. The assistant that washed my color out did tell me she was sorry, but I had never been burnt until now. I was willing to over look that simply because my stylist was so good at knowing what I wanted. I will not over look the way I was treated on this day by the management and front desk staff. BEWARE! The front desk and management treats you as if you OWE them something. I pay their salary. I expect a salon to back it's product, this salon doesn't back anything they sell. On another note, I have never been given a receipt for any purchases I ever made. I find that odd.
