Science Central, Fort Wayne

Nothing worked right, everything was dirty and scratched up, missing parts, ect. The part they have advertised for kids under 7 was nothing more than a slide you would find at a park, a water table I think little tikes does better, and a keyboard that wouldnt work for my 2 year old and barely worked for my 10 year old. My 2 year old was bored after 1/2 and the older 2 after an hour. Oh and the big slide is only for big kids my 2 year old cried because he couldnt go on it at all. Dont waste your time go to COSI in toledo.

It was very disappointing when some of the exhibits didn't work or were closed on the day we visited. It was smaller than I expected. It was not worth the money and I dont plan to return. If you are in fort wayne go to the childrens zoo it is worth the trip.

It's unfortunate, b/c Ft. Wayne is a great town, but this place is not worth a visit. We stopped by while visiting family in the area, and, as others have said, it was not well maintained. Staff did not seem knowledgeable or competent. Kids were running wild. Some of the downstairs activities are kind of cool, but overall, not a positive experience. If you're looking for a great place in the area, check out the Ft. Wayne Children's Zoo. It's small, but really a neat place, especially for young children.

I liked how you can do so much learning and have great fun!! I think kid would love Scince Central. I loved it. It is so much fun.

I wish I read the reviews here before visit SC. As others had written, it was very disappointing; many of the hands on activities didn't work, very few adults and staff, so children were basically running wild. AT 11 a.m., the trash cans were overflowing, bathrooms were filthy! Such a disappointment, and waste of money.

We have experienced SC three times. Each time has been about 3 yrs. apart. My daughter is now 10, son 15 and he is just now saying he has out grown it. We have never had a bad experience. We have waited in line (10 min. max) to ride. I highly reccomend it. We live almost 2hrs away. The atmosphere is such the kids go on their own. But I've never noticed total loss of control like some of the other reviews say.

I would describe Science Central as a sort of mini children's museum with a vast amount of scientific experiments and facts for children of all ages! It was an outstanding place for my two elementary-aged kids to learn such cool experiments while not boring them as most kids would be just by hearing the word "science". And not only did the kids take away a lot from our visit my husband and I did too! We were awazed at how many little things about science we really didn't know about until our visit to Science Central....we would love to come back! It was well worth it!

Nice setting in an old power plant with several interactive things to try. It's a little on the small side. Only took a little over an hour to see and try everthing.

Great place. Good for kids and adults. Great place. Had a great experience. I had fun as well as the kids. Some stuff was a bit advanced for the younger children, but what a learning experience for them. They're never to young to learn...regardless if they retain it or not. Very enjoyable. Great place.
