Fun Spot Amusement Park & Zoo, Angola

We made our first trip to Fun Spot yesterday. I have two children with high-functioning Autism, and crowds overwhelm them. We found Fun Spot un-crowded and very accomodating, even on a holiday weekend. My youngest found a new friend in a ride operator in kiddie-land. He was the only one on a certain ride, and she let him go as long as he wanted to. Cedar Point it's not, but for the price it was a day well enjoyed by everyone. We will pack a lunch next time. I found the snack bar menu limited and a bit over-priced.

We have been to Fun Spot park several times. We always have a wonderful time, the staff are very pleasant, the waiting is next to none, even on crowded days there is plenty of room for every one. We have an autistic son who cannot handle the BIG parks, but this one is just his speed and everytime we visit it's enjoyable. I absolutely reccommend this park to anyone who enjoys "county fair" type rides. The roller coasters and water slides are very basic, but still fun. It's definately worth the time and money!

Being a kid myself, this was a good place to have my b-day party at. After the cake you can go play video games or hop in for a swim. The are rides are niffty and fun were you can enjoy the company of your parents if you like that stuff.

we drove from mich. and my kids LOVED itits small but very enjoyable no waiting in line for hours.its peacefull and clean.The staff very friendly we wanted to have burgers and dogs on the grill, the staff brought us a grill. My wife and I took four kids age 6 to 12 to Fun Spot this year, and I can't think of enough good things to say. The park is clean, there's more or less no waiting, you can bring a picnic lunch, the employees are helpful, there's benches and shade trees to rest if you can no longer keep up with the kids, etc. Honestly, I can't remember when I had a more enjoyable day with my kids. As for the poster who wrote a bad review, I can only guess that he/she was looking for something on a scale of King's Island, Six Flags, Cedar Point, etc. If you're a high-schooler or college-age and looking for the latest and greatest back-breaking roller coaster, then you're in the wrong place. If you're looking for a nice day with your grade schoolers, I just can't imagine how Fun Spot will disappoint you. My only regret is that I didn't discover Fun Spot earlier. et

did not live up to what it showed on it's web site , very big disappointment for the drive we had to take up there, waste of money. If your from that town maybe ok, but don't waste your gas if your not from this town.
