Tranquility Spa and Wellness Center, St Charles

I have been going to Tranquility since they opened 10+ years ago. There simply is no better place for facials, waxing, massage and more. My husband and I have traveled extensively staying at many an upscale hotel and the spa's do not even compare to the service at Tranquility. Bev and Loretta the owners are always friendly, service oriented and always make one feel comfortable. All the gals here work hard to do a great job and make one feel special. As soon as I walk in the unique and inviting aroma makes me relax. I have seen Bev heal adult/teenage acne or hormonal problem skin with nothing less than a miracle. I feel very fortunate to live close to a great place. You will not be disappointed. This is truly best place for skincare and my skin feels like velvet. A relaxing place in these hectic times. I would always recommend them above and beyond all the competition. Why waste your time with sub-par service. They are always striving to add new things to keep it fresh and new. Once you try them you will never go back.

Tranquility Spa has it right----they offer health and wellness services in a spa environment. Tranquility is a beautiful, relaxing spa with a Chiropractor and a Yoga room. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Everyone is extremely professional. I literally drive a half hour for my appointments, when I have a competing spa in my backyard.

I visited Tranquility for my first leg waxing and the day after when I experienced some discomfort I stopped in the salon in the hopes someone could let me know if what I was experiencing was normal. No one was available to answer my questions about the discomfort and when I left my name and number for a return call no one called me. I ended up going to the doctor and was treated. My skin had a reaction and my legs swelled up. I just would have appreciated someone calling me and just answering my questions. I just wanted some TLC. I will not be returning to this salon ever, nor will my recommendation be positive. Please note my negative feelings are solely based on the poor customer service I received, not the fact I had a negative reaction to the waxing. If someone would have just cared enough to talk to me about my concerns all would have been fine.

When I need a place to "decompress", Tranquility is the place to go. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. A very relaxing retreat. Highly recommended.

I was referred to Tranquility by a friend for eyebrow shaping and have since tried their pedicures and facials. The Spa is always very peaceful, clean, welcoming and prompt. I always feel as if I am escaping the noise and craziness for just a little while. They also have excellent product which I use faithfully. I rarely indulge myself but I think Tranquility is a treat well worth the money.

I used to live near the Tranquility Center, but even though I've moved away, I still go back---one of the estheticians, Nicki, gives divine facials. And I've always had thoroughly enjoyable and quality pedicures. Their prices are right in line with the time and care each esthetician gives you. If you want to indulge and pamper yourself--I highly recommend this Skin & Body Center.

I've been to some of the top spas in the world and Tranquilitys services surpasses any of those spas. Every single technician is top notch and worth every single penney. As a matter of fact the prices are very comparable if not lower to any other spa. That lady must be used to those dirty discount salons that dont speak English.GROSS
