Tower Park, Peoria Heights

if you go i reccomend taking the time to visit some of the nice little specialty shops that are located not very far away

Easy to get to, and relatively cheap - total charge was $7.75 for two adults and three children. You can spend as much time as you like on the tower - you pay for the (extremely slow ) elevator ride. Afterwards, we took a ride through a nice neighborhood across the street - Grand View Driver - overlooking the Illinois River. Beatufiul homes and a nice view of the river.

I Went there today wow. First off all views are amazing. Facts around the decks like Princeton is 53 Mi away. If you are scared on the first deck go to the top. Its sounds crazy but since the sun shines and, it is open on the top you don't feel as claustrophobic. The the crazy thing and do NOT READ THIS IF YOU ARE AFRAID OF HEIGHTS, the decks are open without any glass or screens. There is a guard rail about 4 or 5 feet high. But you can look over the edge and you feel the wind. Amazingly the building doesn't shake that much very sturdy rust free metal, don't worry about its not going anywhere. There is a slight whistle every once and a while but it is just the wind. YOU MUST GO THERE OMG IT IS AMAZING.

This place was the best it was amazing and fun. I just took my breath away, it was like I was in dreamland. This is experience was fun. I would recommend that others should participate. It was absoultely worth your money and time.

The tower has very nice view of Peoria and the Illinois river valley. Seems like you can see for ever. There are three decks but I recommend going to the top deck to get the full experience. Bring some change for the telescopes. 25 cents for unlimited views.
