Beautiful Location and Friendly Staff
By Brittany, 9/19/12
I came to the Mill to complete a potential field trip project as a student teacher. One of the mill workers noticed me taking notes with my paper and pen, came up to me and gave me the whole history of the museum. Meanwhile, another worker came up to me and gave me flyers and other information. Very friendly and personable workers. Note: this is not a place for elderly or the handicapped as there is a lot of stairs and little accommodations. With that being said however, the place has a rich history and is full of beautiful artifacts. Low prices good enough for the whole family. And bring some bread for the ducks. I highly recommend this museum.

Disappointed family of elderly lady
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/19/09
Our family was looking forward to visiting your museum and grounds but our day was totally ruined because my elderly Mom was denied use of your employee bathroom. The desk person said she could not let her use it because it was against the rules. I did see the sign stating "no public bathroom ' but I told her it was an emergency, and practically begged her to let Mom use the facility. We were told she would have to walk to the outhouse or go to McDonalds. Knowing she would not make it that far (walks slowly w/cane), I asked again. Mom made it half way to the outhouse and soiled herself. How embarassing for her in the presence of her family! Your employee showed absolutely no compassion or empathy for her and we, her family are very angry that she was treated this way; most of all we are finding it hard to believe that another human being could be so cruel. Please allow this employee to "bend the rules" to ANYONE who really needs to use the restroom OR install a public restroom(s) much closer to the museum for their use. I doubt that this was the first occurrence of this nature at your facility and hopefully you will make sure that it is the last.

We never made it inside.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/19/09
My mother, two children( 10 and 12), my 87 year old grandmother and I enjoyed the scenic long walk to the actual museum building; however, our visit came to a disappointing end. My 87 year old grandmother moves very slowly, with the assistance of a cane. She suddenly needed to use a restroom. We were told there were no public bathrooms. My mother let the woman at the cashier know that it was an emergency and my grandma would have difficulty walking quickly all the way back to the parking lot(1/4 mile away) in time, but we were shown no compassion. Unfortunately my 87 year old, handicapped grandmother was not able to make that long walk, down a flight of stairs, over a bridge, down a long walkway, and through a large parking lot to get to an outhouse. We all had to leave so grandma could change her clothes. Shame on Graue Mill for not letting an elderly, disabled person use their employee only bathroom in an emergency.

Graue Mill
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/9/04
It is really an interesting place for those of you that are into history and knowing about your country and town. The tour is great and the exhibits are very interesting. The mill and building are also on a creek with lots of nature and a waterfall. Take a day and see the sights, its worth it and it's cheap!!
