Prairie Bluff Public Golf Course, Joliet

We recently played at the course while there was an outing going on that had played before us. We spent almost 5 hours on the course to complete the 18 holes and were told we could not get something to eat or drink because the outings had the restaurant and outside seating area. There were other golfers coming in after us and I assume they were told the same thing. In 40 years of playing golf I have never been turned away from the restaurant or bar after playing 18 holes because of an outing. It was like they were saying, Thanks for your money now go home. I have played at courses where weddings and outings were going on but the course made every effort to accommodate the groups that had played the course. We will not play here again or recommend it to anyone else.

after several attempts at this course it never fails the tee times are always running behind and waiting is standard procedures-pushing through too many too close together rangers arenot doing their jobs

we stop into the clubhouse every now and then simply to enjoy the golf atmosphere (altho we dont golf!) and the delicious food!!! the pot roast is FANTASTIC!
