Frances Willard House
Description
The Gothic Frances Willard House was the home of Frances Willard and the unofficial headquarters for the Women's Christian Temperance Union before it was converted into a museum in 1900. This nine room, two-storied house-museum is based on Andrew Downing's designs. Much of the house remains as it was left by Frances Willard before her death which gives one a good glimpse of the middle class Victorian lifestyle. Please call or email before dropping in.
