A good place to check out!

The owner Bindy Bitterman is really a charming lady. She knows her merchandise and is really helpful. You may nit find what you are looking for the first time you visit but you will return to hunt! The merchandise changes and features a lot of Chicago collectibles.

Every item is interesting
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/06/05
This shop is like a chance to step back to my childhood (and beyond) to get some of the most interesting items from my parent's and grandparent's homes. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. They don't have fancy furniture, they have the things that interested me as a child. There is the sheet music that my grandfather kept in his piano bench. There are fascinating tins like the powders and remedies that were in my grandmother's linen closet. There are toys, board games, calendars, signs from stores, earnest advertisements from another age--all the things that got my attention as a child are there. The owner seems to have only two rules about what she stocks: everything is genuinely old (from the turn of the century to about the 60s --- no repros) and everything must be interesting.
