My family enjoyed our time here. We rode to the end of the line and got off at the forest preserve. Our conductor was child friendly and gave us information on the history of the trolly line. We walked along the Fox River and enjoyed a light snack we had brought along in a backpack. We then returned to the "train platform" to wait for the next trolley.Back at the museum, the children enjoyed looking at the old trolley cars.
The trolley museum was inexpensive I think only about $1.50 pp roundtrip. It is run by volunters and is only open on the week end, weather permitting. The day we went they had two differnt type of cars running. For .50 more pp you can ride them both.
