Handmade On Main, Algonquin

Went out with a group of friends last week to Handmade on Main and had a blast. Wednesday nights is Ladies Night. I found out you can bring your own wine. We enjoyed laughing and admirring others creations. Definetly going back!

I have been here several times and it's really enjoyable. My friends and I take our time and the owners are very nice about us spending an afternoon there painting. Unlike other shops they do not charge you by the hour for painting time. My daughter and husband recently went for their Mother's Day project and had a BLAST. She is 3 and not very patient so it's a testiment to the environment that she was so good!! Also I have been to several other paint your own pottery places and HMOM is definately the most relaxed and enjoyable.

This is the perfect place to go with friends or by yourself to paint and relax. They have a wide variety of fun things to paint, and the prices are great. The atmosphere is very cozy and home-like, and the owners are both really nice people. They even offer classes and parties!

We have been going to Handmade and Main for several years now. Whether it is with adults for a "Mom's night out", a kid's birthday party, or just a special afternoon "date" with my daughter we love it!!

I brought my 5 year old to Handmade on Main to paint, she loved it! She made the cutest plate for herself! She eats on it every night. She asks to paint more. Also the owners Reggie & Lori were so helpful and super nice to us, we can't wait to go back!

I had my daughters Birthday Party at Handmade on Main a couple weeks ago. I was so pleased. She had invited girls and boys from her class. I wasn't sure if the boys would enjoy the painting, they loved it. We had so much fun. They were all able to pick out their own pieces to paint and picked out their own colors. We painted and then it was all cleaned up. We had our cake and opened presents. It went so fast and so easy. Lori and Reggie (the owners)were so helpful. When I delivered the works-of-art that the kids painted they were so surprised. It is something that they will have forever and hopfully will remember my daughters great party!
