City Beach is supervised with life guards and is kept up very nice. Every time we have been there it is clean and has a nice family feeling about it. I liked the idea my children could swim at a clean safe beach. I plan to visit often.
I reviewed sandpoint city beach as overall average because there are some problems with the area. The cleanliness needs constant supervision due to the amount of careless children that are there with no supervision. The upkeep as far as landscaping is plain and doesn't really strike ones attention. The last negative thing I see is the advertisement or direction to the area is not good. If one is not from the area it is hard to get to due to the narrow entrance to the bridge and the signs are small and not clear. Otherwise the beach is great and parking is a plus especially for Sandpoint.
