The best part of Grouse Creek Falls is the unspoiled beauty. It is a bit of a hike to the second set of falls, and while very worth it, the trail just does not go far enough. The trail to the second set of falls is tough for kids due to the terrain. To get to the upper falls would take an experienced hiker with a drive to see them. Being there during the steelhead run is a magical and wonderous example of nature. You feel as though you are alone on earth.
