Soar 400 or 800 feet above the magnificent Kona coastline of Big Island with this parasailing company that uses state-of-the-art winchboats which float you on and off the back of the boat. Parasailing is available year round and no experience is necessary.
It was alot of fun, we went up for 2 sessions, but being a pilot, i feel i didnt get the full 1200 feet that we paid for, (or the 800 feet)
Overall it was fun, got to see flipping dolphins on the way back
Dont be scared the take good care of you on a smooth ride up as far as 1200ft very fun and professional I felt safe and saw dolphins in the water from up above took pictres up there and they took pictures of me
I had never gone para-sailing before. WOW!
The crew was helpful, informative, safe, and fun. If memory serves, this company offers 400 feet for about $60.00, 800 feet for another $10.00 and 1200 feet for $10.00 more.
So $80.00 for a ride, with a great view and I didn't want to come back down to the boat.
Really too much fun and I wouldn't hesitate to go again.
I loved being up so high in the air it was so peaceful and relaxing. Also, I had some friends parasail in Mexico and they had to run off the beach, the boat seemed like it was a lot funner than the video of them trying to get up! It was so much fun. However, you better be ready to pay the price.
When I visited the island, i really wanted to go parasailing. I was nervous, but I really wanted to get over my fear of it, and just go parasailing. We found UFO parasailing and the lady told us all about it. It seemed real safe and the people were very friendly. I had enjoyed it so much, I wanted to do it again. Unfortunately, we had to leave. I parasailed with my brother and had so much fun. I definately recomment UFO Parasail to everyone who visits the Big Island.
