Nani Mau Gardens, Hilo

Spend a few hours strolling the gardens...it's absolutely beautiful! Excellent selection of orchids. The all you can eat buffet lunch is yuuuummmy!! Fried chicken, pot roast, salads, desserts...a real bargain.

We visited Nani Mau Gardens in 1996, and whenever the weather at home is drab, I think back to that gorgeous day in the gardens with its hundreds of acres of orchids and gorgeous tropical plants. It's a place where you can stroll at your leisure through a little bit of Paradise. When you're in the gardens, it's easy to forget the woes of the world and the tragedies that will be on the next news report. It was fabulous!
