If you like camping, westpoint lake has many camp grounds for Rv, tents and cabins. It is a nice place to go for a weekend or week to kick back and enjoy fishing, sking, boating and just plain R/R. R Shafer Heard is the place we like, it has a play ground for the kids and also has shower/laundrey for long stays.There are 117 campsites to chose from all on lake with boat access. The grounds are kept clean and all have picnic tables and fire pits for roasting or cool nights.
