Never again

I was in Mooresville, NC this past weekend. I had planned to purchase a full size matress set for my mother. I overlooked the matress place that I had planned to go to--I thought that it had moved or closed. So, the Badcock store was on the way and I stoppped there. They did not have what I wanted in stock and offered to order it and deliver it this week. I needed to purchase it over the weekend while I was in town so I could fix the room for my Mom. The man I dealt with was pretty nice but kept insisting that he could order it and deliver/set up this week. (he wasn't listening to my situation) Anyway, the real problem came when I asked the 3 men working there if there was any matress place in town or any furniture store that mght have a selection of "in stock" matresses. All 3 of them denied that there were any other places! I find it hard to believe that they don't know their town any better than that. I went to the house and used the phone book to locate 3 matress stores in town...there might have been more. The second one didn't have any in stock either but gladly referred me to a store that did. Now that's customer service! I will call on them again in the future. I will not visit another Badcock store. They were not going to help me unless I bought something from there---regardless of the fact that they could not provide what I needed. That's no way to treat customers.
