I LOVE HOLLYWOOD CONNECTIONS!
I am one of the many devoted customers of Hollywood Connection's Xanadu Skate Center. I have been going there ever since I was 5 years old. I am currently 14 going on 15 and I am more than happy to have the chance to tell other people about this wonderful place called Hollywood.
At age 5 my mother introduced me to Xanadu Skate Center, where I first learned how to skate. After a few years passed, I was skating a lot, and I began to explore the rest of the complex. The workers were friendly and were always helping in any way they could.
There are many things to do there as there was then. The amusement section of the building is like a big lobby area that is just for kids. The carousel is a lot of fun for the young kids because I see a lot of them everyday and that is the first thing they are eager to ride. There is a ferris wheel and between it and the carousel is the newest addition to Hollywood- Max Flight; it is a rollercoaster simulator that is a lot of fun at any age. Not too far behind that is the bumper cars and in nearer to the entrance of the building is the swings. to the right of it there is the play place, which is a big jungle gym and lets the parents rest while their tiny tot burns off some energy. Then, to the right of the play place is the train. It goes through part of the putt-putt course and is a great little attraction. Yes, There is putt-putt golf. For those who may not know, putt-putt golf is a minature version of golf that the whole family can enjoy. Between the train and the putt-putt golf is The Rock. It is a rock climbing wall but if u plan on climbing make sure you wear tennis shoes not sandals. On the opposite side of the building is the entrance to the movie theater also known as the Ritz 10 at Carmike. Next to the putt-putt golf there is a pair of double doors. This is the entrance to the skate center a place where you must know the meaning of the pharse "Skate At Your Own Risk" writen on the white and blue signs posted up around the skate rink. Near the exit of skate center there is a diner named Lieutinent's. They serve burgers, fries, nachos, soft drinks, and more all at a very reasonable price. Closer to the carousel is staircase that winds up to the arcade. This is a huge gameroom which I am more than positive anyone would have fun. There is a place just for teens ages 14-18 which is a club called the Backdoor. There is an entrance in the arcade that is currently not in use. The entrance is up a set of stairs outside the skate center on the side facing the CB&T Bank.
I appreciate the time you took to read this review of the best family-fun around provided by Hollywood Connections.
