An architectural wonder, this building was constructed using 15 different brick designs, more than any other building in the entire world. The building features Romanesque Revival architectural style, twin spires, stained glass windows from Germany, and graceful arches and it served as a place of worship for Catholics for over 70 years. The building is open for tours and is a unique venue for cultural and social events. A gift shop is also on site that features works by regional artists and authors.

Peaceful and beautiful space
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/19/06
Although teh pews, candles and statues have been taken out of the magnificent Quebec-Gothic church in the Deep South, the feeling of peace that leads to contemplation is in the bones of the building. The windows are magnificent German leaded glass of brilliant color and coplex pattern. Climbing to the balcony - it was accessible when I went - allows us to enjoy the vast space from another angle and to get close to some of the arquitectural details we might mis below. The welcome was warm and the guide knowledgeable. the access through a tiny garden and the cheerful basement rooms make us feel as if we were part of the old community who used these spaces daily.
