Fat Man's Forest

My Mom owned a Florist shop in Denmark, SC call Daisy's florist. Evey year for as long as I can remember we would go to Fat Man's Forest. It was like a winter wonderland to me. Eveything there was Christmas personified. Seems as if, I was like Alice through the looking glass. As I grew older and had my own children I also let them view the wonder of my childhood. My Mom passed away at 92 about 4 years ago, both of my children passed away December 19, 1981. I miss them all very much especially this time of year. I had forgotten about Fat Man's Forest until a few months ago. So this Christmas, I am going to treat myself and some young friends that I know to a trip to Christmas Wonderland. Thank you Fat Man's.

Some friends took me today for a visit, and it sure was worth the trip!! We found items not available locally, and plenty of them. Looks like it will be a regular drive for us from now on.
