JK Arabian Stables, Tallahassee

i worked for kay since i can remeber i was one of her helping hands and i miss working with the horses and kids so much out there it sucks that there gone now i grew up around there and shes taught me everything i know about horses i wish they were still here:/

After reading these reviews I got excited about taking my daughter there this week, but when I called their voicemail stated that they are no longer in business. That's a bummer.

I COMPLETLY love Kay, and Julius they are such lovely people and for all of y'all with NEGETIVE comments on Mrs.Kay your VERY VERY VERY WRONG! Mrs.Kay is only protective about her horses becuse she has had them for a very long time the stress has also been getting to her, she also only wants YOUR SAFTY, she respects you VERY much and she is a VERY VERY sweet woman with a kind and caring heart, but she wants your and the horse's safty first so you can ride without worry, yes she gets alot of calls but, she is a up-coming artist and is very busy publishing her work while watching anf feeding over 40 horses!!!!!!!!!!! Hello, FYI: She's nearing 90 years old! GIVE HER A BREAK!!!!!!!!!!! I am a personally good friend with the older couple and they retired about a year ago, I took 5 of her horses: Maggie: a beautiful brown,black and white paint pony with amber eyes Hankity (Hannkie): a young head-strong app.y stallion with a frosted(?) coat and beautiful eyes, Mary-Lu- An older app.y with a dull clay red and white coat and soft amber eyes. Marlynn Monroe- a clay red pure arab with a golden mane and beautiful amber eyes... Baby D. Deliah- a clay red arab mix with app.y a young one but VERY tall. Those are them all some went to "conor carrages" while Kay, and Julius kept they're arab line like: Sassy: a speckled white mare with an additude! Jazzy- a large draft(?) a bay coat with white socks. Cherity-Sassy young daughter as I belive she is a clay reddish speckled filly (well was) I can't think of any others they kept some that went to conor Carrages: Cookie Monster,Nelly,Blue,Lucy,Silver,Juice Bug,Murffy,....... (I can't think of any others right now....) So you can imagen why they were a bit stressed....

jk arabian stables is the best place to go riding.The horses are just out of this world beutiful, and the owners are very relatable people. you havent lived yet if you havent ridden here because the horses the enviroment and the people really bring the life in you!!! J/K ARABIAN STABLES REALLY IS THE BEST!!!!!!!

The wife was rude and arrogant towards us. She mocked me in front of all other people. Horses were very good, obedient, but during the whole trip the husband was talking over the phone loudly. Besides, we didn't get to see much of the forest, it was mostly some dirt road and powerlines.

If you haven't had a chance to visit J/K Arabian Stables, in Tallahassee, FL, you are really missing an awesome time. Riding on horseback through the forest is probably one of the most exciting, yet relaxing experiences you can imagine. The owners are quite personable, and really stress having a good time (safe, but good)! At one point, you even get to spread out for a good distance. The animals are gorgeous and loads of fun! Everybody who works there obviously love horses, so if you love them too, I know you'll enjoy a ride with this really cool family!

Im an animal lover,so when I found out my hun-bun was taking me to go horse back riding, I was EXCITED! I had never been so in my mind I expected the whole fairy tale movie type setting. It was, actually. The horses were beautiful, especially Jocko. lol. The trail was peaceful and relaxing. Due to safety measures it was necessary that we ride one horse behind the other so I didnt speak to my hun-bun much. Who cares about him, though?! I had the horse! lol. There was a portion where we got to "roam free", for lack of a better phrase. The trainers kept a close watch on us and we all sort-of rode side by side on the open terrain. It was breath-taking at moments but I held it together. lol. I loved it. I can tell the trainers love it too. There's a passion for what they do and that makes the experience 10 times better. Mrs. Kay (a trainer) even paints horses. You gotta love that! Hope you all get a chance to have as fun as I did.

MAN! What an experience. This was my first time ever riding a horse, so of course I was terrified, right? WRONG! I was so comfortable on those horses I felt like I had been doing it all my life. The trainers made that possible. The horses are so well trained. I actually had a horse named Lady Gray. She was a beaut. If you live in Tallahassee, Arabian Stables is a pretty centrally located place. You can get to it from anywhere in about 15 to 20 minutes. Its good for "family time", "impress-the-ladies time", and even "take-your-annoying-in-laws-out time." lol. You've got to try it. You wont be disappointed.

Going to Arabian Stables definately surpassed my expectations. In Tallahassee, Florida, its hard to find adventurous things to do but we found Arabian Stables and werent disappointed. The horses were gorgeous. Their positive response to the trainers made it extremely comfortable to ride them. The scenery of the trail was nice. My safety wasn't threatened at all and the atmosphere was very calm and serene, just like the movies. lol. It was cool. I had a lot of fun. Oh, and the trainers were very pleasant characters. They set a friendly tone and expressed much clarity in their instructions throughout the entire event. One trainer even told me she sings Luther Vandross to her horses. lol. Thats hot!

I received gift certificates to JK as part of my Christmas present from my husband. I love horses and was very excited about the ride. It was every bit as wonderful as I anticipated! The horses were very well trained, beautiful animals. I had hoped he would be riding near me, but since they gave him a docile horse due to his inexperience, he couln't catch up to my more spirited horse. (Thanks, Jessica, I enjoyed the ride!). The owners do everything they can to insure a safe and enjoyable ride. This means you may be separated from others in your party, but that is very common on a trail ride. The owners do offer a more intimate ride, but if you sign up for a trail ride, then a great trail ride is what you'll get. It was a wonderful experience for the most reasonable price in town. I can't wait to go back!
