4 reviews for St. Augustine Transfer Company
romantic and informational
By Louie, 03/10/09
it was a bit pricey but i believe overall it will be worth every penny you pay, the driver was very nice and knowledgeable. I recommend taking a ride at night when it is cooler and less traffic, also be sure you get a chance to ride by the love tree, which is really cool but i wont spoil why, just be sure to see it, i would take another ride when i come back, you should too

Most Romantic Part!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/11/08
This was by far the most romantic part of our stay. We were able to ride with Mike and Mike and Mike stopped under the Love Tree for my fiance to propose. We will remember our ride with him and also a moment that will last a lifetime, our engagement. Best $100 we have ever spent!

A Carriage Ride during the Nights of Lights! The only way to go!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/17/07
We had a delightfully grand time riding with Mike and Mike as a result of the previous poster's recomendation. It really does not get cold in St Augustine, low 40's occasional 30's for a few hours. These temps are just enough to give this old town a true feeling of the holidays. What a wonderful way to see the city and yes this guide knows his stuff! History and food recomendations! We had to wait to ride with him but it was well worth it! What a gorgeous horse Mike the horse is!

Only way to see the city!! Great way to get advise on restaurants also!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/12/07
What a great way to see the city! Our trip would not have been complete without this ride. Our guide Mike and also the horse Mike were great! Our guide had a great sense of humor and taught us so much about St Augustine and St Augustine's relationship among great southern cities. Was nice to have such a well educated and informative guide. The horse Mike was very smart as well, he knew the route! Felt like we had stepped back in time for an hour. These rides are a great way to find out where to dine and not to dine also. Our guide not only gave us two excellent suggestions but also suggested the proper wine for us to try at each restaurant. A carriage ride is THE way to start a trip. Good local advice in a slow paced setting. A must when visiting St Augustine!
