Did a charter with this guy and I really don't see what the hype is about. My wife set this up for my Birthday and my brother flew in to go offshore fishing. Showed up and the guy couldn't even introduce himself. First thing out of his mouth was about the money, no hello (introduction, nothing). I thought he had just had a bad night. He also seemed unprepared, he did bring ice, (no bait). We spent the first hour of my time riding around in the bay while he looked for bait. Also my wife who set the charter up had stated no bay fishing, only offshore. We watched other fishermen go offshore, I guess he just didn't feel like bumpy water. So much for professional. When the time was up (to the minute) he said he needed to go have a cold one. Guess that extra minute was gonna send him to the poor house. So much for caring for the customer. We barley caught a thing. I'm not a fisherman, but I am a Captain of Ship that makes his boat look like a tonka toy and when my passengers show up I do everything I can to make them enjoy the experience. I introduce myself and don't act like I can't wait to leave. I did tip his helper he brought along. Felt sorry for the guy. I would not recommend this boat ride business to anyone.
