CB's Saltwater Outfitters, Sarasota

A friend and I decided to do some fishing while on vacation and used CB's for our charter. Management was friendly and flexible (we were running about 15 minutes late due to bizarre events) and the boat and captain were ready to go as soon as we arrived. The captain was knowledgeable about the area, fish varieties and tactics, was very helpful with keeping lines baited, untangled, etc. so we could focus on fishing, was conversational and friendly throughout the trip, and cleaned all our fish for us upon return. Five stars for Captain Roy! The only reason this is a 4-star review is unfortunately something out of CB's control, but still impacts the overall experience. There's a long no-wake zone that takes 20-30 minutes to navigate each way, which cuts into your time actually fishing. Overall a good experience, would use CB's again. (Note: Would not use Siesta Key Jet Ski rental again - located in the same building, but apparently a separate company.) Thanks CB's!

I have been going to cbs since I was 14 and im 32 now, but I will never give go back again. I bought a fishing pole their and it was messing up badly, so I tried to exchange it for another one. well the manager would not take exchange it and said i just didnt know what i was doing, and didnt know how to use it. I wasnt trying to get my money back, i just wanted one that worked right. but they wouldnt do it. So please just go to wal-mart

Loved the friendly staff always smiling. Having the captain for our boat rental was the best! Can't wait to visit again next year!
