Lynches Pub & Grub, Sarasota

We have been coming here for years. It is extremely consistant with very good food. Nothing overly fancy but always very good. It's a bit pricey for pub food but what isn't on "The Circle". The owners are authentic Irish and they always hire great staff. Try their desserts as they are great. You can't go wrong here!

Great day at St. Armands Circle except for the Happy Hour at Lynches Irish Pub and Grub. The food was the best of the experience and even that was well below what one should expect for a $100. My wife's Danny Boy (corned beef on rye) had less meat on it than you get at Subway and my grown son's burger must have been imported from the McDonald's around the corner. Shoestring fries! Come on; it's an Irish pub and the famine is over. The waitress was attentive and very nice offering us Happy Hour prices on the draft beers. We mildly grumbled about the lousy sandwiches among the four of us so when the check came without the happy hour prices I asked for a correction. No correction was made as the owner nixed the price differntial claiming that we arrived just before the 4:00 pm start.. The first thing out of her mouth as she approached our table was: "Who's the boss here. Let me tell you where you went wrong" (asking for the correction) After some back and forth between us, as part of her argument she said she would have to take it out of the waitresses pay and said to me " You wouldn't want that would you?" Really! Don't bother. The food is lousy, the manager/owner needs to look for another line of work and the prices are outlandish. I went wrong alright; when I sat down for a family meal at Lynches.

We were able to be seated right away which was a bonus considering how busy the other establishments were. Unfortunately the prices were high and the food was not very good.

Great service, excellent and affordable menu, and cold beer!! The owners have created a perfect ballance of great pub and friendly family dining. The bar is a great spot to sit and visit with Chris and Ethna while meeting lots of locals and visitors to Sarasota. It is also a great spot for a late evening nitecap and desert, made daily by Chris. The wait staff is always friendly and the service is excellent. Best spot on the circle!

We had lunch and drinks at the bar, bartender was so friendly we stayed on for happy hour. The food and atomosphere was great.

What a lovely Irish Pub with a flair for customer satisfaction! The selection of Irish brews and cider is fantastic and so pleasently served by staff that goes overboard in a wonderful way! The food selection is not only fitting for the Irish but appeals to others as well . . . you would be hard pressed not to find something to melt in your mouth -- not to mention the more than fair value . . . considerating the location! Our family will return again and again!

The food was excellent,, served by a chatty and efficient waitress, great atmosphere in the bar and if I lived near the circle this would be my local for sure.

we crave for lynches food. the fish and chips, irish stew and the best burgers in the world! but what we go there for is the chatter. chris and ethna are always happy to see us and greet us with such a big smile and they always call us out by name. we like to have dinner at the bar because they chat about to each customer and have introduced us to people from all over the world. for a traveler what a great spot to soak up the locals! i know each time we visit the pub we will have a great dinner and a awesome visit.
