Good fun.

Most certainly worth it for the money (3 adults, 1 child $8 + $0.75 parking) Nice swimming pool overlooking the water, friendly staff and nice tunes on the radio. There were picnic tables and the park offers a bunch of other amenities. If you are looking for a place near the Port Charlotte area to have an enjoyable inexpensive afternoon, you're sure to have a great time here.

Go For The Music

I was impressed to find out that there is a jam session there every Sunday afternoon. We couldn't believe the quality of music we were hearing coming from this large impromptu group of musicians. The wide range of music styles were as diverse as the people performing and enjoying themselves. An absolutely wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon. We try to attend as often as possible.

It's OK...

I didn't necessarily like the Beach part of the park. The sand was kind of crappy and the water was really brownish. Not something I'd want to swim in. But, there were other amenities that I liked. Such as the Bocce Ball, there's a pool, pavillions, and a nice dock. Great sunset as well!

Great little beach

The beach water is sortof brackish (fresh and salt water mix), that's the only bad thing. But, it's a great place to go jetskiing or have a picnic with the family.

I'm excited to be going back!!!!

The last time I was there I was about 10 years old and I'm now 18. I remember just running around having a good time. It was hot outside, the people were very friendly.
