Cedar Point Park
Best known for being home to bald eagles, this 115-acre park is the last remaining large tract of environmentally undisturbed land on Lemon Bay. Cedar Point Park features over four miles of scenic hiking trails.
Wonderful park to visit. We saw many types of birds (from Jays to Eagles), butterflies, many types of vegetation, various sea creatures on the shore line. It is a quiet park (not many tourists) and not too big to explore. One could walk the entire park in a morning. As for the trails, yes there are pot holes, not from human activity but from the local racoons and other creatures digging up whatever from the sand.
this park seemed to be very interesting although the staff was very rude and did not take well to questions and comments. Also, the trails consisted of mostly potholes, most likely from the staff vehicles driving on them, several of the people i was attending the park with tripped in the holes and I sprained my ankle severly. I would not recommend this park to anyone visiting the town of Englewood.
