Visual Arts Center of Northwest Florida, Panama City

um don't go. It looked like elementary school art that was saved from 20 years ago.It had dust on them They were poorly displayed. No music.Poor lighting. We walked through it all in 3 minutes. Payed $18 bucks and it was terrible. Waste of money really. I lived in Japan for a while I have family there.But this was sad.

Nice place. They usually have free exhibits of really talented artists. Occasionally they'll have a paid exhibit and they're cool, too. They had a Titanic Artifacts exhibit a few years back, and just did a Norman Rockwell show that had original works. Very nice and a good opportunity to see such works in little old Panama City! They also have classes- pottery, drawing, photography, etc. I've heard good things about the classes but haven't gone yet. Also, great old building! The outside is amazing- look close and you'll see the finish is thousands of tiny chips of colored glass! Very nice staff and good location downtown. Bottom line: cool place, go see it, and stop by Trigo Coffee Shop while you're there!
