Staff rude and old, owners must be too. Trashy atmosphere + trashy patrons = welfare babies. Do yourselves a favor and shut your doors permanently.

This is BAR NONE the best place on the Eastern Seaboard to catch an STD--ANY STD!

I go at least once a month...the DJs are awesome, the Lighting is incredible...if you go on certain nights there is either a very low or no cover charge to get in...drinks are affordable...its the place to see and be seen here in PCB

I've been to several establishments throughout the PCB area, and this has to be one of the worst. The prices are ridiculous, the staff is rude, the music is terrible and the dress code is subjective at best. I recently visited with a girlfriend to watch a band perform and was denied access because she was wearing a Jersey. No where on their website (which by the way is rampant with misinformation) does it have a dress code. There was, however one near the entrance, which I made sure to read (being male and denied before) in the time I spent in line. As a side note, standing behind the sign was an employee violating at least three items on their list. After checking her ID, and asking another employee about "Jerseys being accepted tonight?" there was a pause, as the manager thought and asked about her age. After finding out she was over 21, there was another lengthy pause before determining they wouldn't allow her in. Now I understand certain reasons regarding jersey's, but If it is against the dress code, it would be a cut and dry "No" without any other consideration. To be advertised as " a place for party animals looking to let loose without the dress code and rules." you can think twice. It is up to the staff to allow you in depending on what you wear and if they like it. I've been there on numerous occasions (with certain groups wanting to see what its all about...despite my warnings) and have had problems each time. This time was the last straw. Go to Spinnakers next door, or Sgt. Peppers down the street and save yourself the hassle. I've never had issues there.

I went to Club La Vela back in March during Spring Break and the ONLY dislikes I have about this place was that I had to pay $15 to get in an like $4 for a bottle of water! Oh yea, and the drunk guys spilling their drinks everywhere...but other than that, this club is the BEST!!! The music, lights, and whole atmosphere is like it's straight out of a movie...The nights I went, there was about an equal amount of guys and girls so there was no problems there! I also liked how there was a HUGE racial variety everwhere you looked...haha...It was really fun...I just hate I missed the infamous foam party everyone talked about. But I promise that I WILL be back next year!!! =)

Completely over rated. I should have left when I seen the guys at the door harassing every girl that walked in but I paid the ridiculous cover and went inside only to find securety running around like retards trying to fight everybody. The bartenders were horrible and when I was ready to leave it took 30 min to close my tab. The next day I checked my account to find that I had been charged $100, $33, and $7 for a tab that should have only been $30. I'll never go back and if u want a good time I highly suggest finding somewhere else. They need to hire a new staff or be shut down in my opinion.

Despite all my friends' warnings about how horrible and overrated this place is, I did want to go to a place that was "the biggest nightclub" in the U.S. I paid the outrageous $25 cover and walked in. The time people must come here is on Spring Break, when they clearly take all the cool pictures you see. When we went on a weekend in the summer, it was absolutely dead. There was no one on the dance floor, and about 90% of the clientele were guys just awkwardly staring at the girls. This made girls I know uncomfortable and guys I know disappointed. A friend of mine got kicked out of the club because he talked to a girl that had shut down a bouncer. The bouncer got jealous and physically removed this guy from the club. Very unprofessional.

By far the worst experience of my life. The bartenders are as old if not older than the club. There was no light in the bathroom. Mostly guys. Party with thousands of pissed off people. Biggest scam of Panama City Beach!!
