Emerson Point Park, Palmetto

I enjoyd my entire visit to Emerson Point park. This is a very beautiful and tranquil place. It offers an observation tower that gives wonderful views of the surrounding waters, the Sunshine Skyway bridge, and the skyline of downtown St Petersburg. You really get a sense of how much the Tampa Bay area is dominated by water, the Gulf, the bays, the rivers. The park is laid out in a very nice fashion. There are nature trails that offer a glimpse of the natural ecosystem of the area. At times it seems like you are nowhere near civilization. This park does not charge an admission fee. It is well worth a visit.

Ahhh! What a nice place to spend the day No stores few people. Very quiet. A Great place to escape and its FREE. Take the walks on the waterfront trails and visit the tower. Bring your own food and water. Plenty of places to picnic.

i love how u can look out and see all the bodys of water. me and my boyfriend went and i had a good time i will be goinng back really soon! :)
