What Florida is all about...

The tourists are checking out the locals and the locals are checking out the tourists! Great fun all around. Good food, good service, great atmosphere, sit on the dock by the water or sit inside with the breeze blowing in the windows. Stop in some afternoon for a beer and a grouper sammy- it may be the most relaxing afternoon you have had in a long, long time.

Best Beer & Sandwiches in Cortez

Annies is Florida the way it used to be. It's an old historic bait shop with delicious sandwiches.Tables are overlooking the water.Beautiful view and wonderful service. Eat in or take out.It's a perfect spot to enjoy watching the pelicans and water activities while eating or just having a cool beer.

I've been going to Annie's for about 30 years. It's a wonderful place. Old Florida as it used to be. The guy who wrote the other review is compatition up the road that no one pays attention to. ANNIE'S BAIT AND TACKLE IS THE PLACE. DAVE HINCHMAN CORTEZ FLORIDA

Great Place

You know shrimp depends on what they bring in. Go net some "Big Ones" in August. they're not there. Annies is great food, great atmosphere, cold beer. Good Salty Florida folks who know how to live. Keep up the good work. Great to goto by boat too.
