Tomoka Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/17/09
Our family liked this park. We found the staff to be helpful. We also noticed that they were concerned and checking during the bad storm that occured during the time we stayed. No place to swim, but we knew that from the online site before hand. Clean facilities, and close to everythiing, if needed. Park has the "real" Fl feel with lots of Spanish moss, and fern covered branches. Plenty of fishing areas. Sites are good sized. Strickland family

Nice Little Campground
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/15/08
Overall, this was one of the better campgrounds I have been to and would definitely go back again. Pros: *Nicely shaded campsites. *Well maintained facilities. *Ample recreational activities such as fishing, walking trails, kayaking, boating. *Friendly park rangers. *They are adding more campsites. *Nice secluded area with grocery, restaurants, and bait store just a short ride away. Cons: *Campers tend to dirty the restrooms quickly, but they are cleaned every day. *Camp sites have no access to the water directly. *Camp store doesn't carry much - just fishing stuff (only frozen bait), ice, and sodas. *Some of the camp sites are separated by woods and others only a tree that has been cut and laid down as a divider. So site selection can be critical if you want some privacy.

Always on my mind!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/15/07
The truth is, there was nothing I did not like. It is a beautiful little place on earth, and I am so grateful to God that I have it right here in Florida. We were there 2 years ago, and we were all over the place. When that last Sunday arrived, we had the most wonderful spiritual experience, because there was church! We met the greatest and neatest Christian couple from ST. Louis, MI. Needless to say, "Tomoka Park, you are always on my mind." Crazy about you in Winter Park, Fl. Yolanda Lebron
