I have to say this was such a fun event for everyone despite the rain everyone who braved the rain had a blast. We attended on Saturday December 5, 2009 just past 12:00 noon and the party had just began the group "The Greatest Moments In Time" was performing on stage and captivated the audience with their rendition of the classic Christmas songs followed by songs from the past this group 1950’s thru 1990 music they were fantastic and family oriented towards their guest. Many people who watched there performance was in the spirit of Christmas, the group also performed a song for the Jewish families that attended this event for Chanukah making it special for the Hebrew culture as well.
The beautiful tree set the mood as well as Santa’s sleigh. The appearance of Santa & Mrs. Claws combined with the expressions of the children made this event special. From my surprise all of the vendors were also showing a gleam in there eyes as they danced to the music of The Greatest Moments In Time. As I walked through the vendors tents I could see that they brought a feeling back to Christmas. I thought right away of Christmas from the 1930 & 1940 paintings of Norman Rockwell if this was not enough as we walked in and out of the vendors streets we came upon a tent that had woman asking everyone if they would like a hot cup of chocolate, tea or coffee to warm yourself up. Wow it was a great experience and I would like to say thank you for this memory for sure I will be back next year for this experience again.
