I went to see resident evil 2 and as i do understand company policy this was the first time i have been carded at a movie ( i am 20) but this wasn't the problem, one of the managers was so very rude to me about this matter that i will not be going back. She had a very nasty attitude towards my fiance and I. Then when we called she was also rude on the phone. This is just poor customer service I happen to be a video store manager and deal with people all the time i would NEVER have spoken to a customer the way she spoke to me.
I have been going to this theatre from the beginning of it's opening. It is the nicest theatre we have in this area and the statum seating was a pretty smart idea because no matter where u sit, as long as it's not in the first few rows, you will be able to see over the person in front of you. My only big complaint about this theatre is the lines at the concession stand. Now when it first opened it was using the other two smaller concession stands that it has on either side when you are walking to go to your theatre, but after about my third time going they were no longer using them. Now if you want popcorn or a drink you must wait in a long line to get this. I just want to know why they no longer use them. They were built for a reason. Other than the long lines at the concession stand I think this is a nice theater.
Ticket counter can be overwhelmed but usually a manager will "help out" when this occurs. No major complaint but there are no people outstanding that I recall.
Ticket checkers do the minimum. Movie left or right. Could add the customer friendly comments if they wanted to improve their image but I don't suspect it is taught or strongly encouraged.
Concession is always busy and some people want to provide quick service while others are waiting to go home, daydreaming along the way. Look for the fast moving line--there will be a standout somewhere.
Seating is average. Some broken seats already and cup holders as well but generally better than what most of us sit in at home. Avoid those side lights and the "forgotten" lights in the projector rooms that create a glaring light obvious in dark scenes during the movie.
Screens are a plus, clearly bigger than many multiplexes. Don't downsize please!
Audio is pretty impressive but this is more a function of the individual soundtrack really. Decent speakers. Could have used better sound insulation however as the rain storms of central Florida and the audio tracks of the adjacent theater will impose upon some of the quieter movie moments.
Video is fine. Sufficient brightness on the whole even with the lighting issues above. Nice "movie quality", not too sharp like HDTV but softened like a theater ought to be.
